Whitney Houston’s funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Her family decided to go with a private service with just family and close friends.

Her fans should not be upset because the services will be broadcasted over the internet. Whitney had millions of fans all around the globe who wished to be part of her homecoming can now tune in online.

People are still saddened by the sudden death of the 48 year old singer. There has been a huge out pouring of cards and flowers for Whitney Houston at her church in Newark, NJ.

The services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. Whitney will be buried in the Fair View Cemetery located in Westfield, NJ. Her father is buried in the same cemetery.

The songstress will be deeply missed by her fans. They can look forward to her final film Sparkle due to be released on August 17, 2012.
