John Travolta is in the spotlight, not as a movie’s main character, but as the defendant in a lawsuit filed by two masseurs.
One complainant, John Truesdale, accused Travolta of sexual battery through lawyer Okorie Okorocha; Truesdale is a bulky former army medic and certified black belt. The lawsuit was later withdrawn and the lawyer, fired.
Okorocha represented both Truesdale and the other accuser. Both complainants fired Okorocha and are now represented by Gloria Allred. On the other hand, there has been speculation that money has been paid to merit withdrawal of the lawsuit, an allegation which Martin Singer, Travolta’s lawyer, has denied.
