Corrie’s Star Shobna Gulati Forced Off of Twitter Due to Hate and Threats
Coronation Street star Shobna Gulati has quit Twitter. What’s the reason for her closing her account? Gulati blames the massive amounts of bullying comments that she’s received, reports The Daily Mail.
What kind of bullying did she receive? Racist messages and taunting threats, but that only scratches the surface. The 45-year-old actress has also received photographs in which the actress has been “mutilated” in rather shocking ways.

Gulati says that it brought her all the way back to the 1970s while making her think that she was in some kind of gruesome horror flick.
Gulati said that the reason she couldn’t “simply ignore it” was because the hate was too “violent” and “vitriolic.”
