Fake Hollywood Marriages, Who’s Really In Love?

Celebrities Hiding Behind Beards Called Marriage

It did not take many people by surprise when the announcement was made on Friday, June 29, 2012, of the pending divorce of the Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise marriage.

Speculation about Cruise’s Scientology involvement, sexuality and sanity has swirled around the actor since he came onto the Hollywood scene. Many believed Holmes was part of the third attempt at using marriage as a beard for Cruise’s behavior.

Other celebrity couples’ marriages come into question constantly. Coincidentally, they are all close friends of the Cruises.

Rumors about the union of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, also Scientologists, have made news since they married. Travolta is presently in the middle of a sex scandal, and eyes are glued to the couple’s behavior. Photos surfaced this week showing tension between the two, even when kissing.

Questions about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s marriage never go away. Lately, with Pinkett promoting solo projects, she has been forthcoming in interviews about their relationship, saying they have always spent more time apart than together.

Anyone who joins a “cult” (and scientology falls in that category) has got serious issues – not able to rely on their own judgement but needing an outside authority. If you believe in yourself and have nothing to hide, you don’t need a cult – it’s all about self-esteem and not needing to hide.
