After living with actress Angelina Jolie for several years, Brad Pitt thought nothing of spending another twelve months taking his time designing the engagement ring with which he would pop the marriage question.
Pitt is well known as a perfectionist in his work and designing a ring for the love of his life proved to be no different a task.
He collaborated with master jewelery Robert Procop and waited patiently while Procop searched for just the right shape and quality of diamond to complement Jolie’s left hand.
Brad Pitt Spent Year Designing Jolie’s Engagement Ring
The Daily Mail said: “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realised over a yearlong collaboration. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina’s hand. ”
He continued: ‘Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution.
“The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”
The ring reportedly cost Pitt a cool quarter of a million dollars but no wedding date has yet been set.
