Hugh Hefner Biopic Staring Tom Cruise?
Hugh Hefner Biopic Currently Being Made
According to recent reports, Peter Morgan is currently working with Hugh Hefner on a biopic.
Morgan, who is perhaps best known for his Oscar nominated screenplays for The Queen and Frost/Nixon, met with Hefner on Tuesday.
Afterward, Hefner tweeted, ”I had a good meeting today with screenwriter Peter Morgan discussing a film about my life.”
The Playboy founder has never found himself on the big screen in any real form, and such a possibility is drawing plenty of interest.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but Morgan and Hefner recently discussed the concept with each other. Otherwise, no actors have been named, and no major developments are available.
However, dBTechno reports that Tom Cruse are Hugh Jackman are in the running for the lead role as the Playboy mogul and philanthropist.
Still, a major movie about Hugh Hefner could soon hit the big screen if everything works out properly. Morgan has already brought other iconic figures to the big screen after all.
Hefner set up Playboy magazine in 1953 and still serves as the Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprises
