The 2012 Toronto Film Festival (Tiff) lineup has been expanded. TIFF is scheduled to run from 09/06/12 to 09/16/12. Movie buffs will be able to see a number of highly anticipated films and documentaries created by some of the World’s best directors.
One of the most highly anticipated documentaries is one by Spike Lee entitled “Bad 25″. The documentary highlights Michael Jackson and the 25th anniversary of his album “Bad.” “Bad 25″ includes a behind the scenes look at Jackson while recording the album. Mariah Carey and Kanye West have featured interviews interspersed within the film.
A special premiere of the film “The Master” that features co-stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. The plot revolves around a unique friendship between a World War I veteran and the leader of a new religious movement.
Lee Daniels, the director of the blockbuster movie “Precious” will be premiering his newest flick entitled “The Paperboy.” The film starring Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey is set in the 1960′s.
TIFF is showcasing more than 25 new films and documentaries including director Walter Salles’ highly anticipated adaption of the film “On The Road.”
