Will Rosie O’Donnell buy Honey Boo Boo a house?
Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell loves watching reality TV star Honey Boo Boo so much, she may just buy her a house.
O’Donnell says she’s amazed by the whole Thompson family, but especially by 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo, who she thinks says some quite amazing things. She even declared she reminds her of 1930s child star Shirley Temple.
O’Donnell was recently interviewed by People magazine and, when she got onto the subject of Honey Boo Boo, AKA Alana Thompson, the comedienne couldn’t stop talking enthusing.
O’Donnell said she’s enamored of the show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and all its participants, and would love to meet the entire Thompson family. Buying them a house would even be an option.
The Thompson family and Honey Boo Boo are currently in negotiations with The Learning Channel (TLC) for a second season of the popular reality show, and it’s been previously reported that a house had been part of past offers.
O’Donnell tells People magazine that she is a huge fan of the show. O’Donnell comapres little Honey Boo Boo to former child screen legend Shirley Temple.
“I think that little girl, Honey Boo Boo, she is like Shirley Temple,” O’Donnell tells People about the 7-year-old reality star. “She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years.”
“I’d love to meet them,” she says, “and buy them a house.”
June “Mama” Thompson, however, has said several times before that she’s perfectly happy living where she and her family already live, particularly as she wants to “keep the show real”.
In fact, she, Honey Boo Boo and the rest of the family may just be more grounded than the show sometimes makes them seem.

When I sat down and came across my first episode of this show, I automatically became judgemental and “grossed” out by some of their comments. I got stuck on watching it for that reason alone. Then I actually fell in love with them. I have to say they obviously adore and love eachother very much!!! They are comfortable in their own skin and with eachother!!! Two thumbs up for this great family!!! And good for Rosie to recongnize them!!!
Its great that God has so many helpers here on earth when it comes to Judging but where are these helpers when it comes to actually helping. I don’t think this family is trash, yes they do and say things I wouldn’t. If you pay attention and get pass what you say is gross you’ll notice they they love and support each other. When she is in pagents and loses, her mother does what she can to make her feel better. She doesn’t rip her a new one like these other mothers. Pagents for this little girl are a way to make her feel pretty. Who are you to take that away. As for Rosie O’Donnell, she has the money, don’t get so caught up in what others are doing with their money

Are you kidding me.. Rosie is as crazy as they are. Why buy them a house,, they are making plenty from that stupid show.. Are you looking for friends… give it to people that really need it.
I watched the whole season with my 12 year old niece and enjoyed every episode. I am not one to pass judgement on others and I see that they don’t pass judgement either. Good for them and shame on all of you who are so qick to judge. Do you think that you are really better then them? Get over yourselves.
