Miley Cyrus to Portray Bonnie Parker of Bonnie and Clyde

Miley Cyrus has been considered for a role in an upcoming miniseries based on the infamous bandits Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow who are known simply as Bonnie and Clyde, according to MTV News.

The show is being produced for the Lifetime television network and Cyrus is in talks to play the role of Bonnie. The hit makers behind Smash and Glee are directing and producing the series and there has been a great deal of buzz about possible candidates for the part.

Miley Cyrus has kept quiet about possibly portraying the world famous bank robber, but the Hollywood gossip circuit is full of chatter claiming she will fill the role.

Other actresses said to be vying for the bad girl role include Lindsay Lohan and as well as Hilary Duff. Rumors abound that Hilary Duff was all set to take on the job but backed out at the last minute due to personal issues.
