Honey Boo Boo says she’s supporting Barack Obama in November election
President Barack Obama not only won the second presidential debate last night, to make his week even better he’s also just been endorsed by an extremely popular celebrity — 7-year-old reality TV star, Honey Boo Boo.
On the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show on Monday night Honey Boo Boo, AKA Alana Thompson, was first asked if she knew Republican Mitt Romney liked Snooki, another reality TV star, more than he liked her. After asking “Who said that?” and being told “Mitt Romney” she immediately responded she was supporting Barack Obama. She also proved how difficult the president’s can be for some as “Marack Obama” was as close as she could get.
Of course, as Honey Boo Boo has the typical attention span of a 7-year-old, and she’s wired on her mother’s “go-go juice” Kimmel wasn’t able to get any solid facts as to why as she was too busy bouncing on the sofa and mugging for the camera.
Her mother, June Shannon, who was with her on the show, also didn’t seem to know anything about Romney, saying she didn’t “listen to much media” and didn’t know anything about the Republican Convention.
The interview ended with Honey Boo Boo declaring when she grew up she wanted to be a “Teacher, a momma, and a nurse”. They’re at least all people Barack Obama says he wants to help, so Honey Boo Boo may have just chosen the right man for her endorsement after all.
