Jessica Biel Shuns White To Wed in Pink Wedding Dress
Recently revealed photographs of actress Jessica Biel’s wedding dress show that the actress opted to forego the traditional white dress route and selected pink instead as her wedding dress color.
The cover photo of this week’s People Magazine shows that for her recent marriage in Italy to Justin Timberlake, the gorgeous Biel selected a wedding gown designed by Giambattista Valli in a beautiful shade of pink.
Biel appears on the People cover seated, holding a bouquet of fresh white flowers and looking radiant in her pink wedding dress while her new groom Justin is seen behind her leaping into the air.
“I actually surprised myself when I chose my dress,” Biel said. “It’s a style I will only ever wear that one day.”
The gown was created using silk organza and mousseline, with plenty of ruffles and a barely noticeable motif of flowers.
Biel wore family pearls in her veil in order to follow the tradition of the bride also wearing “something old.” Everyone in the bridal party wore Valli creations.
Mr. Timberlake wore a Tom Ford tuxedo for his big day, which he helped design himself. “It was a really special evening,” he said. The photos were sold to People magazine for $300,000 following the ceremony.
Brides.com writes: ‘Opting instead for a blush gown, in shades like peachy-pink and strawberries and cream, will keep your colorful wedding dress feeling ultra-modern without sacrificing on traditional bridal style.’
