Kelly Rowland Isn’t Shocked By Beyonce’s New Haircut
Beyonce recently showed the world a drastic hair change: her long locks are now a short pixie cut. It’s a cute yet shocking change for the sexy singer. Bey seems to be following a trend of female celebs with long hair going short, like Miley Cyrus and Emma Watson.
Kelly Rowland, Beyonce’s band mate from Destiny’s Child, didn’t seem as surprised as the rest of the world. Kelly thinks Beyonce can do no wrong when it comes to style. She even told a photographer while leaving an LA restaurant, “Beyonce can have a STRAND of hair on her head and still be fine.” In fact, Bey isn’t the first Destiny’s Child member to rock the short hair look. Kelly herself had a similar cut just a few years ago.
When asked if she was jealous that Bey might’ve been copying her old style, Kelly shrugged it off. “We have been rocking short haircuts since the beginning of time. But we all got it from somebody. Somebody had something off of somebody.”
Both ladies look great with short or long hair, so there’s no need for either to feel threatened. It’s nice to see both happy and stylish.
Meanwhile, Beyonce recently made headlines for telling fan to put down their camera during a convert.
Celebrities are used to constantly having cameras shoved in their face, but singer Beyoncé made her dissatisfaction about the practice perfectly clear during a recent concert performance in Atlanta. The singer was attempting to encourage audience participation by means of a sing-along to the lyrics of “Irreplacable” when she noticed that one fan in the front row wasn’t joining in the singing because he was continuing to hold up his camera in order to film the concert. Beyoncé quickly stood in front of the camera-toting fan and chided the concert-goer for not being in the moment and actually experiencing the concert because he was too busy filming it to watch at a later date.
Beyoncé then chided the fan for being “too busy taping” and not participating in the sing-along, and instructed him to “seize the moment” because Beyoncé was right here, right now, in front of his face live, and that he should immediately “put that damn camera down.” The singer then shoved her microphone in front of the fan’s face and he complied with her wishes to sing along with the song’s lyrics rather than continue to record the event. Beyoncé then told the entire audience to put away their cameras and pay attention to singing.
