Fan Pulls Beyonce From Stage in Brazil
Over the weekend at the Estadio do Morumbi venue in Sao Paulo, Brazil an overly excited fan managed to pullBeyonce from the stage and into the crowd while she was performing. During the song “Irreplaceable” the singer was wearing a blue sequined catsuit and the topless man got ahold of her and pulled her down. The stop in San Paulo was part of her The Mrs. Carter Show tour and she had been interacting with concert goers at the front of the audience when the incident occurred.
Her security quickly reacted and got her back to safety on the stage pretty much immediately. She was not injured and jumped right back into singing as if nothing happened telling the audience as well as her security, “It’s alright. It’s alright.” Her bodyguards were going to escort him out of the show, but she called them off and let him stay.
Beyonce is known for being a good sport, especially with rowdy fans. After the song she actually walked over and shook his hand saying, “Let me speak to the gentleman. He just got excited. It’s alright.” The crowd applauded when she went on to jovially express, “Thank you, I love you too.”
This isn’t the first time the singer has gotten up close and personal with fans.
At a show earlier this year, the singer was attempting to encourage audience participation by means of a sing-along to the lyrics of “Irreplacable” when she noticed that one fan in the front row wasn’t joining in the singing because he was continuing to hold up his camera in order to film the concert. Beyoncé quickly stood in front of the camera-toting fan and chided the concert-goer for not being in the moment and actually experiencing the concert because he was too busy filming it to watch at a later date.
“See, you can’t even sing because you’re too busy taping,” Beyonce said. “I’m right in your face baby, you gotta seize this moment baby! Put that damn camera down!”
