Elizabeth Berkley Brings Back Jessie Spano For One Night On DWTS

Anyone miss Jessie Spano? Just for one night, we all took a trip back in time, when Elizabeth Berkley revisited her famous role from Saved By The Bell.

Recreating the memorable scene when Jessie realizes she has an addiction to caffeine pills, Berkley and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy jazzed up what could possibly have been the most enjoyable minutes of Dancing With The Stars.

Dancing to The Pointer Sisters’ song “I’m So Excited” and costumed for the ’90s theme, complete with a hairbow, period-appropriate legwarmers, and a hairdo that brought us right back to a former decade, Berkley and Chmerkovskiy proved beyond a doubt that they belonged on the famous Dancing With The Stars stage.

For many who watched the routine unfold, it was like being sent back in a time capsule, modernized with a high-energy dance routine and, of course, an older Berkley. But this time, instead of the caffeine pills from the original episode of Saved By The Bell, Berkley was hooked on jive pills, which certainly seemed appropriate for the routine. Even Mario Lopez, who played AC Slater on Saved By The Bell, seemed to thoroughly enjoy the show from the audience. All in all, a wonderful and fun performance by Berkley that had many of us in the audience revisiting our past.
