According to a new study, which will soon be posted in the journal “Alcohol: Clinical and Experimental Research,” if you are hoping to avoid a nasty hangover this holiday season, then it is best to stay away from darker liquors such as bourbon, red wine, brandy, and spiced rum
The study reported that those who consumed lighter colored alcohols such white wine, vodka, and gin were much less likely to feel sick or hung over the next day. Interestingly, while light alcohol consumers felt less sick the next day, they reported being just unproductive than those individuals who drank darker liquors.
These results came from a study which followed 95 healthy adults who were just enough liquor to get drunk, and then surveyed the next day. The adults who were drank dark liquors were much more likely to report symptoms of feeling sick and hung over.
Researchers attribute the results of this study to the amount of chemicals in dark liquor. While there are enough toxins and chemicals in all alcohol to make people feel hung over, studies have shown that dark liquors have up to 37 times more chemicals than light liquors.

if i dont drink i feel good
There are alot of other factors involved when determining the state of a hangover. How much did the adults have to eat before drinking? If they did eat something before the test, what type of food was it? Greasy foods and time are the only factors to improving your state of mind aftr a booze filled evening. The author should of wrote about something that is more relevant to the holiday season, like spending time with loved ones rather than mall parking lots.
