Kirstie Alley`s New Diet And Weight Loss Show

Kirstie Alley, who is an actress that has publicly dealt with weight issues for the past decade, has reportedly found a new diet. Alley, who used to be the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, is now the spokeswoman for Organic Liaison LLC. Organic Liaison LLC is the world’s first USDA certified organic dietary program.

The new program charges customers a monthly fee ranging from $10 and $149 to follow the new regimen. The new organic diet combines both organic foods and with natural vitamins and supplements. The new diet has already proven to be successful for many.

While the new diet appears to be successful for many, it has been criticized publicly because of a potential like to Scientology. Recent reports have shown that the diet program has been funneling revenue directly into the church. The firm’s main accountant, who is Saul B Lipson, is a known Scientologist. The company is also allegedly approved by the Church of Scientology, which is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida.

Alley on the other hand completely denies the link between the company and Scientology. She has stated that the accountant is a Jewish Scientologist, but that is it. Beyond that, any connection is purely a coincidence.

Meanwhile A&E will be carrying Alley`s new reality show, KIRSTIE ALLEYS BIG LIFE, a new real-life series that will chronicle the extraordinary life of Golden Globe and two-time Emmy winner Kirstie Alley and her journey with her weight loss program.

Alley, 59, said she has already lost 20lbs, and plans to 60 more.

“I want to lose about 60 more pounds,” the actress — whose new reality series, Big Life, premieres on A&E this Sunday — said Friday on Good Morning America.

So, why is she doing it with cameras chronicling her every step on the scale?

“Because I’m nuts!” she joked before admitting it seemed like “a good, fun” idea to show the progression as opposed to the traditional before-and-after reveal. “I thought there was some merit to watching the journey… I think the day to dayness of it is what makes it actually funny… I mean, this is something that millions of people are struggling with, especially in the United States.”
