Cancer Deaths to Double by 2030

The International Agency for Research on Cancer has released some startling statistics about the future of the world’s population. Cancer deaths are expected to double by the year 2030. In 2008, 7.6 million people died of cancer, that number is expected to reach 13.2 million by 2030. Nearly 21.4 million new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed that same year.

The alarming numbers are based on a new database launched by the IARC. The estimates are intended to help leaders determine what kind of stance they will take against one of the world’s largest killers. Lung cancer is still the number one cause of cancer deaths with breast and colorectal cancer close behind. The fatal disease is not limited to poorer nations. The United States was among the top three nations for highest mortality rates related to cancer. 56 percent of the new cancer cases diagnosed in 2008 were in developing countries.

The projected statistics are based on a number of factors including exposure to cancer causing agents like tobacco and alcohol. The statistics are dramatically increased because modern medicine is extending people’s lives. Cures and vaccinations for childhood illnesses are prolonging children’s lives and increasing the number of children who go on to develop cancer in adulthood.

The reason we have the problem with these diseases is what we eat, drink, and breathe. We are killing our Planet and ourselves for a profit, and than to top it all
we either cut, burn, drug these diseases instead of using the banned natural
medicines to cure the problem. Point everything is for a profit even if it is a
life. How sad We are to make Money.

Until we demand more healthy, natural, and organic foods to eat we will continue to see an increase in cancer rates. You can’t ingest so many chemicals and poisons at every meal and expect it NOT to have a devastating effect on the body. Duh. On top of that we are gross polluters of the air and water. I’d say we are doing an excellent job of killing ourselves and everything around us. Welcome to Apathy World.

In other words, “we’re just guessing, folks.”

“Cures and vaccinations for childhood illnesses are prolonging children’s lives and increasing the number of children who go on to develop cancer in adulthood.”

    Well, duh.

We’re living longer than our ancestors (by far), we’re living healthier lives than our ancestors, and we’re more active in our old age than our ancestors, yet still we have to bow down to the chattering masses with their claims that we’re living in a poisonous and evil society, backed up by meaningless guesses published by organisations who increase their funding by constantly crying, “It’s worse than we thought! It’s worse than we thought!”

    It’s wearying.
