Beyonce, Jay Z, and baby Blue Ivy get away for a while…
Hip hop royalty, Beyonce, Jay Z, and baby Blue Ivy escape to Italy on a luxury yacht for one last summer hoo-rah.
Early September, Jay Z, and family took a much needed vacation, celebrating Beyonce’s 32nd birthday, the powerful couple were also happy to get escape from the tragic news of the death of one of their former bodyguards, 43 year old Norman Oosterbroek,
The Carter family were spotted on September 4th, near Stromboli Italy, celebrating Beyonce’s birthday in style, with a news making bikini from Knowles, and a not so news worthy turquoise suit from Carter. It’s a treat to see the private Carter family laughing, holding hands, and of course synchronized diving.
“It’s really interesting because I’m touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career,” Beyonce told reporters Sunday.
“I think it’s the one thing that women struggle with because it’s so difficult,” she continued “But when I’m able to travel it makes me so proud that she’s able to experience all these different cultures and meet all of these interesting people at such a young age.”
This is a welcome break from Beyonce’s “Mr.s Carter World tour” spanning from April to December of this year, and the superstar admits that she has had to adjust to motherhood on the road.
Earlier this year the Grammy award winning singer told fans how happy she was to be back in shape after giving birth.
“Y’all have no idea how hard I worked. I had to lose 60 pounds!” the svelte singer shouted from the stage of her May 26 concert at Atlantic City’s Revel Resort. “They had me on that treadmill — I ate lettuce!”
In an interview with Shape magazine, the 31-year-old megastar opened up about how she shed the 57 pounds she gained while pregnant.
“I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again,” Beyoncé says in a one-minute-and-a-half, behind-the-scenes video of her Shape shoot.
“I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape,” she adds.
Although Beyoncé’s weight loss is impressive, the singer says it’s not improtant to stress over how you look after giving birth.
“Not everyone is supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.”
The singer wants to encourage new mothers to focus on staying healthy rather than focusing on the physical body.
“For me, dancing is what keeps me active and I would just say everyone is not supposed to be the same. I’ll say to [Blue Ivy], be your best self. Be healthy, take care of yourself and be truly happy with the beautiful things that make up who you are.”
