According to media reports Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service have issued a recall of a Lampasas, Texas establishment’s frozen taquitos.

Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. produces the Jose Ole products that are sold in grocery stores in Texas, California, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming.

The company received consumer complaints that the taquitos contained foreign material. The material turned out to be rubber with white plastic that originated from the establishment’s processing equipment.

The specific product is the Jose Ole Taquitos Beef Carne Res in Corn Tortillas Crispy and Crunchy, case codes 3366365A, 3366365B, 3366365C, 3366365D and a Best By date of December 30, 2017.

The FSIS states that there have been no adverse reactions after consuming the products.

Those who have bought the recalled products are asked to throw them away or return them to place or purchase.
