Google showed a lot of support for Pac-Man, but displaying an interactive GOOGLE logo that was in the design of a Pac-Man stage. The logo was even equipped with an active Pac-Man and set of mini monsters. As a thank you to everyone who has taken their part in keeping the Pac-Man game around for so long, Google is offering a free download of the logo Google game, for the Pac-Man 30th Anniversary.

Google Trends, which records top visitor searches each day, revealed that “Pac-Man 30th Anniversary” was the number one searched topic last week. “PacMan” also showed up in fifth place. The search for Pac-Man 30th Anniversary was reported a breakthrough, meaning the search density has increased over five thousand percent. The search for Pac-Man was up just 250% from last week, showing just how popular Pac-Man truly is.

The celebration of Pac-Man’s thirtieth anniversary has also increased downloads through cell phone applications. It may seem like some people needed the Google Logo Pac-Man game to remind them just how much the enjoyed playing Pac-Man, even if they were not the best at it.
