Police Declare Deaths Of Two Children And Three Adults DisturbingCalgary (eCanadaNow) - Police responded to a call and have declared a Calgary home the scene of a domestic homicide.
Two young children and at least three adults were discovered dead in the Dalhousie Neighborhood in a scene that was so disturbing several paramedics and police officers have sought counseling.
“As it looks at the present time it is a domestic homicide, but we are examining all of the crime scene for any other possibilities,” declared Calgary Police Chief Rick Hanson.
A young one-year-old child was discovered alive at the scene, the only person believed alive at the house where the five bodies were discovered.
The child was heard crying by a passerby and that is what led to discovery by police of the grisly scene.
No reason or motive was given for the murders, but police are continuing to investigate.
The scene was discovered by a family acquaintance that happened to be passing by when they heard the toddler crying and investigated.
The victims were aged four and six, and three adults in their mid thirties. No cause of death has been announced, but police are continuing to investigate the disturbing scene.
