Boston (eCanadaNow) - The final three in American Idol this week were Jason Castro, Syesha Mercado, and Chikezie. In the end, it was Chikezie going home.
American Idol cut its contest down to just nine contestants after its results show on Wednesday night.
There all but one who made it into the final 9 and will get the opportunity to sing again next week.
Those who were deemed safe right from the start included Ramiele Maulbay, Brooke White, Michael Johns, Carly Simon, David Archuleta, Kristy Lee Cook, and David Cook.
The predictions stated that the most likely to go home was going to be Ramiele Maulbay.
Those predictions went out the window very quickly though, as it was Chikezie and Syesha who were the final two waiting to hear their fate.
After it was all said and done, Chikezie sang his last song on American Idol.
