Washington (eCanadaNow) - Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has been arrested for alleged domestic violence on Wednesday night.

He was arrested around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night in Century City.

The arrest came while he was staying in a hotel.

Reports state that Rodman hit a woman, causing injuries to her arms.

The 46-year old was arrested when police answered a report of domestic abuse.

He was thrown in jail at the Van Nuys jail around 2:50 a.m..

He is being investigated of felony domestic violence and was freed on $50,000 bail.

Rodman has been struggling through his most recent divorce, and the inability to see his children.
