Don Imus Tries To Defend Himself After Comments

Radio personality Don Imus took to th eair on his WABC radio morning show on Tuesday morning to try and address fire he has been hit with following comments he made...Washington (eCanadaNow) - Radio personality Don Imus took to th eair on his WABC radio morning show on Tuesday morning to try and address fire he has been hit with following comments he made.

He made a racial joke about the NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones.  This came a few months after he was fired by his former employer for racial comments made about the Rutgers womens' basketball team.

He stated that he was only making a joke.

He stated "they arrest black people in this country for no reason.  That's all.  And that's what people should be outraged about."

On Monday, he was talking with Warner Wolf about Jones.  Wolf spoke of how he was arrested six times.  Imus then asked, "What color is he?"

Wolf stated, "He's African-American."

Imus replied, "Well, there you go.  Now we know."

Imus is under fire yet again, and is doing his best to put out the flame he has started.
