According to reports from a hospital in Los Angeles, CA the iconic Farrah Fawcett, 62, has come to the end of her battle with cancer. The beautiful actress was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and her ongoing fight against the disease was recently aired in a documentary by NBC.
Farrah Leni Fawcett was born on February, 2 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was married to Lee Majors from 1973 to 1983. She and her long time love Ryan O'Neal have a son together Redmond O'Neal who was born in 1985.
Her career which began as a pinup girl quickly blossomed her into a "Charlie's Angel" and from there she went on to star in several movies.
Family and friends of the actress have gathered to say their final goodbyes despite reports from her publicist Arnold Robinson that Farrah is "still being treated for her condition".
Ryan O'Neal had recently told Barbara Walters in a tearful interview that he had asked Farrah to marry him again and she had said yes. Sadly it appears that will not happen.
Surely the world knows that with passing of Farrah Fawcett it is losing a very talented and beautiful person. My condolences go out to all of her friends and family.
