Boston (ECN) - Miley Cyrus has admitted to being in a relationship with Nick Jonas, stating that they were in love.

Miley Cyrus confirmed in an interview with Seventeen magazine stating "We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met."

Miley Cyrus has kept her mouth shut about her relationship with Nick Jonas to this point.

in the past, she stated that the two were just friends, and nothing more.

She is not keeping quiet anymore though as she stated in the Seventeen interview that "Nick and I loved each other.  We still do, but we were in love with each other.  For two years, he was basically my 24/7.  But it was really hard to keep it from people.  We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn't fun."

The two split up at the end of 2007, and things apparently did not end well.
