Boston (eCanadaNow) - Comedian Jerry Seinfeld gave himself and fans quite a scare.  Seinfeld managed to avoid a potential collision, but also flipped his car on Saturday night.  He managed to walk away from it uninjured.

East Hamptom police stated that Seinfeld showed some terrific driving in the way he was able to avoid the crash.

He did flip his car before it went flying across a busy highway though.

Police Chief Todd Sarris stated "He avoided a catastrophic event.  I can't imagine the damage had that  vehicle gone into the intersection."

Seinfeld had to pull off the maneuver when his braked failed in his 1967 Fiat.

The 53-year old apparenlt walked away from the accident without any injuries.
