Ottawa (ECN) - If you live in Canada and are unaware of whom Mike Smith, Robb Wells, and John Paul Tremblay are they are the hard drinking trio of friends who are better known as the Trailer Park Boys.
Their film "Trailer Park Boys: Count Down To Liquor Day" opens across Canada this weekend.
The three friends from Sunnyvale Trailer Park opens with Bubbles(Mike Smith), Ricky (Robb Wells) and Julian(John Paul Tremblay) completing their most recent jail terms.
Bubbles wants to see his cats, Julian has plans to change his trailer into an auto body shop and Ricky figures he will just sell weed. On the way home from the prison Ricky and Julian sneak out the rear of the corrections service bus and immediately steel a van and rob a liquor store for "start up money".
Meanwhile, back at the trailer park supervisor Mr. Lahey has started up Lahey's Luxury Estates and needs Julian's' trailer site for its sewage system.
Of course, conflict erupts, the auto body business fails, and the SPCA seizes Bubbles cats. Julian concocts a plan to rob a bank by posing as security guards.
It is very difficult not to laugh out loud at many of the scenes of this movie, which is a follow up to the Trailer Park Boys first movie which came out in 2006 "Trailer Park Boys" The Movie".
