Medical experts are using this month to try and raise as much awareness in regards to the dangers of the sun during the summer.
Experts have stated that too much sun exposure can lead to melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
The recommendations for skin cancer awareness month is to limit your exposure to the sun when possible, especially during midday.
It is also important to wear protective clothing, as well protectant of at least SPF 15.
