Study Shows Cell Phone Use Lowers Male Fertility

A new study has shown that men who talk on cell phones may be lowering their fertility. Cell phone use has been linked directly with male fertilityBoston (eCanadaNow) - A new study has shown that men who talk on cell phones may be lowering their fertility.  Cell phone use has been linked directly with male fertility.

The study has been released as the research term at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation looked at over 350 men in their study.

All of the men were under the age of 40 and were evaluated for infertility.

They broke the men into groups based on how much they talked on cell phones.

They found that those who talked more than four hours a day on a cell phone had a lower sperm count than those who talked on a cell phone for under an hour a day.

The author of the study, Ashok Agarwal, stated that this could be due to heat generated by the phones.

Sperm production is sensitive to temperature.
