Chicago (ECN) - A very young 35-year old woman from Illinois has suffered a stroke while having sex.

The woman was just 35-yeasr old, was extremely healthy and fit.

It is rare for women and men to have a stroke during sexual intercourse.

Doctors have stated though that it is certainly possible, and is usually caused by a heart defect.

During the act of sex, or an orgasm, the stroke can occur.

For this woman, it caused her whole left side to go numb during the act.

She has since fully recovered and is doing just fine.
