Washington (ECN) - The NASA Phoenix Mars Lander has made quite the discovery as it has spotted snow falling.
The snow was seen falling from the sky above the planet mars.
The camera and meterological equipment on the Phoenix revealed that clouds and fog formed during the night.
The air got cold, to the point where snow actually began to fall on Mars.
Snow was detected from the clouds 2.5 miles above the landing site of the Phoenix.
The snow vaporized before it actually woudl hit the ground.
This shows that there are more signs than ever that Mars is similar to Earth.
