Andrea McNulty Accusing QB Ben Roethlisberger of Sexual Assault

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault By Andrea McNulty

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 – Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger is being accused of sexual assault by a casino employee in Nevada.

The supposable incident happened back in July of 2008 at his hotel room in Nevada.

The suit held against the football star alleges that Ben had asked the employee at Harrah’s casino to come fix his television set in his hotel room, and then he forced her to have sex with him. This suit was served to Roethlisberger in Lake Tahoe, Nevada while he was partaking in a celebrity golf tournament.

Andrea McNulty is the accuser of the quarterback’s six different civil charges of sexual assault, assault, false imprisonment, fraud, false pretenses, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

David Cornwell, Roethlisberger’s attorney stated earlier that Ben has never sexually assaulted anyone, and especially Andrea McNulty. Ben plans on cooperating fully and he will be exonerated. Ben will not be stating anything in a public discussion about his personal life, but he will be defended vigorously through this charge.
Many wonder why the lawsuit is being brought up now, a year later from the supposed incident and why there are no criminal charges on the case.

There are no answers to the questions, but when the trial begins, I am sure there will be those same questions being asked in the court room.

With just weeks before training camp starts for Roethlisberger, he is hit in the face with this civil suit that may be false accusation, but no one knows for certain.
