New York (ECN) - According to reports, the 2009 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover girl is Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Bar Refaeli.
Page Six today had a story saying Dicaprio was lobbying for her to get the cover.
Coed Magazine said that it was in the audience at the Letterman show taping where it was announced.
The 23-year-old Israeli model has been the subject of increasing buzz since becoming the new face of Marks and Spencer's Valentine's Day lingerie range.
According to the New York Post, Refaeli was slated to appear on last year's cover, but lost the slot to Marisa Miller because she blabbed too much about the deal.
"It's very secretive, and the magazine likes to keep people guessing," a source told the paper.
DiCaprio and Refaeli have been dating since 2006.
