Boston (eCanadaNow) - Former NHL player Jere Karalahti was formerly charged on Tuesday with drug charges, including smuggling amphetamines into Finland.
The 32-year-old former NHL player was charged with involvement in the smuggling of amphetamines into Finland.
There are 19 people in all in the case.
He also apparently provided some $29,500 for the smuggling.
He could face six years in prison if found guilty.
He was banned from the Finnish Hockey League back in December.
