Boston (eCanadaNow) - The Montreal Canadiens dominated the Boston Bruins at home in Montreal on Monday night, winning game 7 of the series 5-0 over the Boston Bruins.
The Habs now move on, finishing off their first-round playoff series off of a shutout victory from Carey Price.
Price managed to stop 25 shots overall, with 11 shots in the first period, when the Bruins were at their best.
The scoring opened up at 3:31 in the first as Mike Komisarek popped in the first goal.
He would score again later, as would Sergei Kostitsym to make it 3-0 by the end of the second. They would end up winning 5-0.
Montreal now moves on to play Philadelphia in the second round if they beat Washington. Otherwise they wil face the New York Rangers.
