Boston (eCanadaNow) - The new book from former Major League Baseball slugger Jose Canseco has linked New York Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez to steroids.

The new Canseco book "Vindicates" is set to be released, and links many big-league players to steroids.

The big names linked include Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, and Magglio Ordonez.

Canseco stated in his book that he introduced Alex Rodriguez to a known supplier of steroids.

This is the first time that the MLB MVP has been linked to steroid-use.

Rodriguez has yet to comment on the allegations.
