Dallas (ECN) - Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, broke a finger during a game yesterday against the Arizona Cardinals. It is estimated he will remain out of the lineup up to four weeks, it was reported today.
A spokesmen for the team says that Romo broke the little finger of his right hand on the first play of overtime in the game against Arizona, where the Cowboys lost 30-24.
This is at least the third time that Romo has injured his right hand -- which uses to throw.
At the end of last season, he suffered an injury in the thumb against Philadelphia, and this year during training, his hand was hurt by another player.
Over the next three games, the Cowboys travel to St. Louis, then get to Tampa Bay, and finally visit the Giants in New York.
The team is hoping Romo will be able to play against the Redskins in Washington on Nov. 16.
Romo is currently dating singer Jessica Simpson, who fans believe is bad luck for him and the team.
