Boston (eCanadaNow) - Everything appears to be going smoothly as the NASA space shuttle Endeavour continues its journey back to Earth. It is expected to land at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday evening.
The landing is planned for Wednesday evening and seems to be going very smoothly. Favorable weather conditions are leading NASA to believe that it will be all systems go for the landing.
Partly cloudy skies and slight breezes are the forecast for the landing scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CDT on Wednesday.
The mission lasted for 12-days at the International Space Station and consisted of 5 spacewalks.
Astronauts installed the Canadian-built robot Dextre as well as the first part of the Japanese space laboratory Kibo during the spacewalks.
