Boston (eCanadaNow) - Microsoft has come out and stated that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV is selling far better than the Sony PS3 version.

Microsoft stated that 60% of the GTA IV sales, which consist of $500 million in its first-week, were on the Xbox 360.

This leaves 40% of sales on the Sony PS3.

Either way you look at it, GTA IV has been a huge hit for the entire gaming industry, as the game from Rockstar and Take-Two has managed to not only sell a lot of units, but also sell many video game consoles.

People waiting to go to the next-gen either picked up a PS3 or an Xbox 360 along with their copy of GTA IV this past week, and it will only get better from her.

It is clear the Xbox 360 version wins in terms of sales though.
