Kojima stated that "We're still not satisfied with the quality we can do.  There's not enough space on Blu-ray."

Kojima stated to the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that 50GB of storage capacity is simply "not enough."

This comes one week after the Blu-ray format won out over the HD DVD format, and it is a good thing as well since Blu-ray holds 2 times more space compared to HD DVD.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is due out on June 12th as an exclusive to the PS3.
