Washington (eCanadaNow) - Adobe has unveiled Photoshop Elements 6 for the Mac, stating that it is the perfect mix of power and simplicity.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for the Mac brings a great deal of power to Mac users as it carries many new features based on the proprietary Photomerge technology.  Users are allowed to select facial expressions and body language from different shots to create a group photo.  Anyone with any type of experience level can pull this off with just a little practice.

John Loiacono, senior vice president of creative solutions at Adobe stated "We're excited to showcase a brand new version of Photoshop Elements at Macworld."

There is also a new Quick Selection Tool in the software which allows users to select and adjust things in the image with one click.  A Guided Edit tool teaches users and walks them through steps to improve a photo as well.

There is also an improved conversion tool to convert color images to different variations such as black-and-white photos and more.  

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac runs on Leopard and previous Mac OS X versions.
