Boston (dbTechno) - Indiana Jones may be ready to make a comeback, but do not forget about Pitfall. Activision has announced that Pitfall: The Big Adventure is headed for the Nintendo Wii.
The game is in development by Edge of Reality, who is also working on The Incredible Hulk.
The game is going to take place in the Peruvian jungle and will feature 60 levels in total.
Players will be going through caves, forests, as wella s mountains.
"Pitfall is one of the most legendary franchises in the history of videogames, so we look forward to releasing a new version exclusively for Wii," said Activision's Dave Oxford. "What could be more fun than using the Wii Remote to swing on a vine over blood thirsty crocodiles as retro-cool Pitfall Harry?"
The game will feature Wii-specific controls, but not much has been revealed in regards to that just yet.
