Washington (ECN) - The Apple iPhone dominated the G1 Android phone in Q4 in the U.S.
According to a new survey from Morgan Stanley, The Google Android phone, the T-Mobile G1 only sold about 300,000 units in the Q4 in the U.S.
This compared to the roughly 1.75 million Apple iPhones that were sold in Q4 through AT&T in the U.S.
This means that for every six iPhones that were sold, one G1 Android phone was sold in that same time period.
This is astounding to say the least as it shows that the Apple iPhone is the clear smartphone winner at this point.
The only catch here is that the Google G1 phone did not go on sale until late October.
The Iphone, on the other hand, was on sale throughout the entire quarter.
