Boston (eCanadaNow) - The host of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert, managed to take top honors at the Webby awards.

Colbert won the award for his "innovative way he used the Internet to interact with fans of The Colbert Report."

The Webby awards are the Oscars of the Internet, with this being the 12th annual Webby awards.

Winners will be honored in ceremonies planned on June 9th and 10th in New York.

Black Eyed Pea's will.i.am also won a top honor as Artist of the Year.

They are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
