Telus To Enter Canadian iPhone Market

Consumers interested in the iPhone smart phone from Apple will pay at least $99.99 to get one from Telus, which will hit the market on November 5

Toronto (ECN) - Consumers interested in the iPhone smart phone from Apple will pay at least $99.99 to get one from Telus, which will hit the market on November 5.

For the price, the 3G model with a memory of 8GB, consumers will commit to Telus to a three-year contract.

Without a contract, the device will be available at $ 599.99.

Always with a service agreement lasting three years, the new model 3GS 16 GB of memory will be offered at $199.99 and the 32GB at $ 299.99. Without a contract, they will be respectively sold at prices of $ 699.99 and $799.99.

In a statement issued Monday, Telus says that the 3GS will work on the next generation network, providing access to 3G coverage the largest in Canada.

In Q3 of this year, Apple sold 5.2 million iPhones.
