Washington (eCanadaNow) - Nintendo is hard at work trying to promote Wii Fit for the Nintendo Wii.  The game is just weeks away from release in North America, with many retailers touting it as the perfect gift to give mom on Mother's Day.

Walmart.com has their home page filled with love for Wii Fit, stating that it is "a perfect gift" for Mother's Day.

Wii Fit will release on May 19 in the U.S. and will be priced at $89.99.

It comes with the game, as well as the Balance Board which detects weight, pressure, etc.

Those who pay for the game in advance will get a $10 online gift card for a future order at Walmart.com.

This could prove huge for Nintendo who continues to try and push Wii Fit as the ultimate game for the non-gamers out there who own a Wii console.

The game has already proven to be a huge success in Japan and in the UK, and is poised to take over North America in just a few weeks.
