Washington (eCanadaNow) - District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis has announced that 75 San Diego State University Students have been arrested on drug-related charges.
A five-month undercover operation at San Diego State University came to a halt on Tuesday when 96 people in total were arrested, with 75 of them being students.
18 of the students were arrested on Tuesday morning, with the other arrests coming over the course of the past 12 months or so.
One year ago, an investigation was put into place to look into people who were suspected of selling illegal drugs to students.
The students which were arrested have been since suspended, they will have reviews though.
Some of the items seized in the investigation inculde marijuana, cocaine, ecstacy, mushrooms, one shotgun, pistols, and around $60,000 in cash, among other items.
