
In Colorado, a working prototype helium balloon shaped like a UFO detached from the ground with a six-year-old boy allegedly inside.
The balloon floated at just over 2000 meters over Denver in the Rockies.
We do not know what state the child, since he was not inside the balloon when it landed.
The authorities admitted not knowing how to bring the craft to the ground, which eventually occured when the effects of helium dissipated as for small decorative balloons.
The U.S. National Guard considered sending a helicopter in pursuit.
Reportedly, the child climbed into the craft made by his father, then the rope holding the cract to the ground was cut or detached.
CNN quoted sources who said they saw the child fall from the balloon shortly after takeoff.
The boy has not been found yet.
The boy's father, Richard Heene, is an amateur scientist, according to to the Denver Post.
