Hollywood (ECN) - Hurricane Kyle is leaving New England in its wake, and is now heading to southeastern Canada.

Hurricane Kyle is moving at around 24 miles per hour, with sustained winds still up around 80 miles an hour.

A gust of wind from the storm makes it a Category 1 storm according to the Saffir-Simpson scale.

The storm is expected to weaken as it goes oevr waters up in Canada.

It was, as of last night, centered around 355 miles southwest of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

A hurricane watch and tropical storm warning is in effect in Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
